this has caused my phone to freeze at the language selection and boot loop. I think it has something to do with the beastmode kernal or the wifi fix because just the rom itself has not caused this to loop on me.

I have exactly the same problem too. It stuck at Samsung loading screen and was showing Kernel seandroid not enforcing and set warranty bit: kernel. and i cant get on to wifi too. Should i get different kernel?

Wish I had read these comments. I’m stuck on the Samsung loading screen, too. And set warranty bit: kernel was showing for me, too…

How long does it usually take for the first boot?

I’m still letting it run but now I’m not too hopeful.

guys you honestly have to wait a good 10 min tops

Roman is very beautiful, but there is a problem in the keyboard I can not download some language

It keeps rebooting and optimizing apps. Getting little bit worried now… Any ideas?

Works perfect except fingerprint and brightness bug on snote and aod screen.

Doesn’t work at all. On first start it’s optimizing apps, which takes unusually long. It starts several times, but the amount of apps that needs to be optimized is shrinking, so that’s all fine so far. But once it’s done with all the apps it starts all over again with the full amount of apps. After about an hour I gave up and looked for a different rom.

Works perfectly but the brightness and fingerprint are not working. Dev please fix it cos the ROM runs fast

Those of you complaining about having bootloop, did you follow the instructions well.. Those with Tmobile N910t and Canadian version N910w should flash beastMode kernel and data/voicefix which is found just below the ROM link.
I am using the Tmobile N910t and it runs smooth

Hi! First of all – THANK YOU MAX LEE for your work and info about custom roms for the CANADIAN NOTE 4 (N910W8). I’ve had a lot of trouble finding good resources on which roms work.

SECOND – I CAN 100% CONFIRM –> THIS ROM (NOBLE Note 7 Edge UX 3.0) works properly on my CANADIAN Note 4 (N910W8)!! (the other link for Dr. Ketons S7 with Note 5 UX did not work for my phone). My note 4 was (and still is) unlocked, and working on my Fido service in Toronto Canada. It requires the BeastMode Kernel & Data fix linked above. I used TWRP to create a full image backup, saved the files to my SD card, used TWRP to wipe everything except “internal storage” and “sd card” (i.e. wiped data, system, cache & dav cache…) –> Installed Noble rom 1st, then BeastMode kernel, then Datafix, then rebooted, initial boot took ~5min, then optimized some apps, and now works like a charm. Battery life is good, screen off memo works, spen works perfect, edge panel works. Occasionally lags for a couple seconds when im using multiple apps heavily, but honestly no complaints, its a great ROM and very happy with it.

I wanted to post this because I know how hard it is to find confirmation that a ROM is tested and works with the N910W8

    Thanks again Max,
    Best wishes,

UPDATE: after installing many apps this rom and/or kernel is super laggy…randomly freezes for 10-20sec which essentially makes it unreliable…so…ignore my above comment
